Children European Folk Dance
Age 6-13 (Primary School)
Basic steps and techniques with fun sequences taught! Develop a sense of groove and coordination, boost self-confidence. Styles and music of different countries will be introduced, like: Romanian, English, German, Russian etc. Lessons will be focusing more on group dancing to develop a sense of ensemble cooperation.
Teenage European Folk Dance
Age 13-18 (Secondary School)
More advanced techniques, like polkas, jigs, heel clicking etc. will be taught to build up a stronger foundation. Particularly focusing on some countries' styles with both big/small group, partnering and individual dance practices, so that students can be more concentrated in those styles and be able to present more solid and complete performances.
Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival - Western Folk Dance
Classes for building up school teams to join the HKSDF taught by experienced tutors.
Great opportunity for students to widen their horizon and boost confidence by preparing a
professional performance.
